Darth Ancalagon, the Invisible Hand. Apprentice to Lord Rabid, former New Imperial Federation pilot, skilled assassin.
Ancalagon, the Invisible Hand, was once a promising Corellian fighter pilot, recruited by the New Imperial Federation when he was still in his teens. He rose quickly within the ranks of the Federated Empire, and was in position to become the youngest Fleet Officer in it's history, that was until the visions started. Through these vision, his Dark Jedi ancestry was revealed to the young pilot.
His great-great-great grandfather appeared to have been a Jedi Knight, who had fallen to darkness and attempted a coup upon the Jedi Order, in the time before the Clone Wars. Defeated and captured before he could gain a suficent power-base, he was stripped of his memories as to his training, and therefore stripped of his control of the Force. He was held, and eventually it was decided that he would be nothing more than a continuing threat it he was allowed to live. But before he could be executed, he escaped, and fled to Corellia. Once there, he took up a new name and started a family.
His strength in the Force was passed down through his descendants, though repressed. Generation after generation lived and died with never knowing their true potential. It continued this way, the visions of Ancalagon.
Intrigued by this power, Ancalagon began a deep study in the ways of the Jedi, since no text nor holocron was available on the methods of the Dark Jedi, nor any cult of the dark side. But it was the dark side of the Force that interested Ancalagon most, and he studied the tattered history of the Jedi for the tales of the fallen.
His days of study came to a halt, while on a scouting mission into Chiss Space. Ambushed by Remnant forces, he was forced to land for repairs deep with the realm of the Chiss. Shortly after his arrival, he hears rumors of Sith onworld. Apparently, servants of the Order had come to the Chiss seeking supplies to aid in their war with a traitorous ally. His interest peaked, Ancalagon sought out the Sith, unaware that he was being tailed by two radical Jedi of the Republic, whom had discovered his ancestry in the archives of the Praxeum, and intended to finish the work of the old Jedi Order. However, before they could strike, they found themselves ambushed by the Sith Knights Ancalagon sought. A great duel ensued, and at it's peak a stray blast of Force energy was discharged into the crowd, incapcitating over a dozen, including Ancalagon.
When he awoke, days later, he found himself in a Chiss military prison/hospital. Immediatley after his recovery, he took his repaired fighter and fled, now intent on uncovering his heritage and claiming his birth-right to the Force. Lead on by his visions he made his way back to Corellia, where he eventually uncovered his ancestor's Saber-lance. However, only hours later, he realizes that the Jedi that had followed him into Chiss Space had survived their duel with the Sith and trailed him to his former home. After a lengthy battle, the power of the dark side allows Ancalagon to dispatch the radical Knights. However, knowing the penalty for murder in Corellia, especially murder of a Jedi on a world of the Republic, he was forced to flee.
It was then that Ancalagon began to seek out the Sith. Searching for two years, he was eventually able to catch up to the "Ariana Rose" in the system of Nal Hutta. Sensing his abilites, he was recruited by Icion into the Order. He was soon apprenticed to Darth Rabid, and began to explore his potential in the Force. Soon, he was honed into a lethal dagger, quick and deadly. His lance soon became the last sight of many of the Order's enemies, and would blaze brightly from the North Tower of the Grand Temple on the day of the Rebirth.
